The Medical Center at Franklin has a rich history of caring for the residents of Franklin and Simpson County. Established in 1969, The Medical Center at Franklin is a 25-bed acute care hospital providing both inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour, full service emergency room.

In recent years The Medical Center has completed several expansion and renovation projects including a $4 million surgery expansion in 2011. With these facility enhancements, residents of southern Kentucky and northern Tennessee have access to one of the most modern facilities in the region.
